Student Mental Health

I spoke at length with a student about all the challenges that they have had this semester. I felt sorry for them as they relished the opportunity for things to be normal. We will need to look at how this school year will affect students in their future academic and professional pursuits.

In a recent article in Monitor on Psychology entitled “A Crunch at College Counseling Centers”, 90% of the counseling center directors reported an increase in students seeking services.
