The Los Angeles Lakers won 2020 NBA Championship deploying a winning that prevented the spread of COVID-19 that worked well. I did not watch the series, but having sports options had definitely been a welcomed distraction.

Few people know that the architect behind the strategy was Byron Spruell as President of League Operations.

Thanks to his leadership, the Lakers won the shortened season with few if any reported COVID-19 cases.
