A while back I would get out of bed and do 20 pushup, 40 crunches, and 60 leg scissors. I called it my 6x Daily Routine (x+2x+3x) using pushups to determine the other exercise repetitions. In the evenings my lovely wife and I would go for a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood.
We still take our walks, but I have not done my 6X Daily Routine in a while. Now the first thing I do after making the bed, is to star getting ready for taking my son to school. I love that time together in the morning, but during the initial quarantine I had gotten used to having time to kill before logging on to work at 6:30 am or 7.
My 6X Daily Routine only takes 10 minutes, so I need to get back to it and make that the first thing I do after making my bed. It is an investment in my long term health and makes the rest of my day go better. I have more energy when I stick to my daily regimen of the 6X Daily Routine and evening walks or bicycle rides.
