African Violet type of day

George Duke is one of my favorite musicians. I discovered his music in the late 80’s when I began my jazz education quest. Many of his songs resonate with me, but I wanted to focus on the song African Violet on his 1986 album entitled George Duke.

The song provides a sense of serenity and one can almost feel the breeze coming off the plains as the sun is rising in the east.
