Time to reflect and finding a point of renewal

I have often referenced this story, but I wanted to share it with you. Find your thing and a way to reflect as we prepare for the election results from tomorrow. Here a a great story that Ray Lewis shared about learning the importance of reflection from his grandfather. “One day you will understand” is what his grandfather told him when Lewis asked why he always held that cigar in his mouth.

Seeing how Reginald Lewis, who successfully used leveraged buyout to purchase Beatrice Foods, the parent company of Bryan Brother’s Food, lead me to try my first cigar and pursuing my MBA.

I now occasionally take the time to indulge in an hour-long smoke with a sip of bourbon to find clarity when I feel I need time to reflect.  Boxing and playing the horn are more healthy options, but there is nothing like the taste of a well-crafted bourbon or stogie.
Find your renewal method.
