What will it cost to fix Jackson’s infrastructure? Here are some comments from the 2015 article.

Between now and 2031, the plan estimates Jackson needs $743 million worth of infrastructure repair and maintenance. The particulars of needed repairs are startling: 1,200 miles of streets, 200-plus bridges and hydraulic structures and 1,100 miles of water main. The miles of drainage ways that are insufficient, the plan said, were too high to count. Total cost of just those projects is $332 million.

The plan called for $48 million in work in the first year alone.

Here is an idea worth sharing.
