Community Development Brainstorming

1–2 minutes

To read

Engaging a community to identify new opportunities is surprisingly fun and rewarding. It is so energizing to see younger and older member of small communities come together to talk about solving problems and creating opportunities. The community originally conceived the idea of a dedicated building in 2003 and began construction around 2010. In 2022, the Tibbee Development Club will hopefully complete construction and open the building for community use. This is just the beginning of my tenure as the Executive Director and I am so excited about what the future holds. Community is a blessing.

Community Brainstorming Session 10/16/21
Idea Generation Board
Survey Responses Demographics and Hours of Operation
Proposed Activities for Elderly and Young Adults
Youth activities and subscription fees

The surveys responses mark only 10 percent of the population of around 200 citizens. I plan to continue the survey to solicit more ideas over the coming months.
