Hurricane Delta came through Friday night and blew down part of my fence. I will use today to repair it. I see no other damage as dawn begins to appear. I was lucky.

Over 400,000 are left without power in the Southwest Louisiana area around Lake Charles. Hurricane Laura had just struck the area 6 weeks ago according to the article on weather.com titled “Hurricane Delta: Roads Flooded, Buildings Damaged as Storm Moves Inland; More Than 400,000 Without Power“

In the mist of the pandemic, we must exercise caution and lend helping hands while remaining safe. Storms are a part of nature, so the human spirit must rise to the challenge to rebuild.
